Hayley is an American actress and singer. People are most familiar with her as Erica Goldberg in the comedy The Goldbergs' TV show. She is primarily as a musician. According to her, music is always been her primary passion. When she was 12, she had taken music seriously enough to begin studying professionally. At 13, she began making music. She recorded her debut album when she was 14. Since then, she has not stopped since then. Orrantia is of Hispanic roots, however she was born in USA. Although she was raised speaking only English and was never in Mexico she's extremely proud of her Hispanic culture. In her pursuit of learning Spanish and writing songs, she strives to keep the culture alive. 'Hasta Verte' a song she composed in Spanish is one such attempt. Orrantia performed for The X Factor during its inaugural season, which aired in the summer of 2011. Orrantia was the winner of the initial season of the X Factor when she uploaded an YouTube recording of her audition. She was awarded the four "yes" votes from the judge during the live stage show in Seattle. Though she initially auditioned on her own during "Hollywood Week" the singer, along with three other female singers, were placed into an ensemble for the remainder of auditions. Live shows were staged in the fifth week.
