Summer Bishil

Summer Bishil is an American actress best known for her role as Margo Hanson on the Syfy fantasy drama series The Magicians (2015-present). Her previous work was recognized as the character of a 13-year-old Lebanese-American girl, Jasira Maroun, who is undergoing an emotional journey in the context of the U.S. attack on Iraq in the Gulf War in the Alan Ball film , 'Towelhead'. Her performance was voted by Variety for inclusion in the "10 leading actors to watch". In the 2009 movie Crossing Over she played Taslima Jhangir. She also won in the Independent Spirit Award category for "Best Female Lead".
