Annie Mist Thorisdottir hails from Iceland's Reykjavik. She is the co-owner of Crossfit Reykjavik where she also coaches and trains. Annie is the first woman to have ever won two CrossFit Games. She placed second in the CrossFit Games in 2010 and in 2014. Annie Thorisdottir is an Icelanders CrossFit weightlifter, athlete and media celebrity. She was the first female to be awarded in the CrossFit Games in 2011, and in 2012, two times. Her other achievements includes winning the Dubai Fitness competitions in 2017 and 2013. Annie was born in Iceland's Reykjavik area with her siblings and parents. As a kid, she was a sports and fitness enthusiast. She first competed in CrossFit in California in 2009. The performance she showed was impressive at her very first games. Annie Thorisdottir was 31 (by 2021). She's 5'7 and weighs in the neighborhood of 67 kg. Annie started with her CrossFit experience in 2009, in California. She was able to perform very well in the initial games. She finished amongst in the top 10 among over 70. Although she didn't win any of the titles however she was able to finish in the 11th position. In 2010 Annie finished 1st in European Regionals Qualifier. For CrossFit Games under the guidance of her coach Jami Tikkanen, she came in seconds place and won the silver medal same year. In her second year of competition that she competed again in CrossFit Games. Due to her impressive performance she was the first female athlete to win CrossFit Games. Annie also won in the CrossFit Games in 2012 due to her impressive performance. It was her first time as a female athlete to win twice in CrossFit Games at once. She also received a medal that was silver in 2014 and an award of bronze at the CrossFit Games in 2021. Annie has been coaching and training at Crossfit Reykjavik. This gym was founded by Annie. Annie has gained recognition for her athletic skills, has been featured in commercials for athletic products, such as Reebok Rogue Fitness Transparent Labs Nuun Hydration, Yerbae Renaissance Periodization Transparent Labs and other. Additionally, she also has her own Youtube channel which has around a thousand viewers where her diet family videos as well as travel videos are posted.
