Taylor-Momsen

Taylor Momsen, an American actress and singer-songwriter who hails from St. Louis Missouri. The most famous of her roles is her character Jenny Humphrey on the CW series Gossip Girl and as the leader of the rock group The Pretty Reckless. Her music has been featured on television and film shows such as How to Be Single, Going the Distance, and Two and a Half Men. The younger sister of Taylor Momsen Sloane Momsen also works as an actress. Taylor Momsen was a student at the Center of Creative Arts, St. Louis. At the age of three she started her acting career professionally with a Shake 'n Bake commercial. Momsen's acting career slowed down for three years. She was then offered her first leading part on her WB show Misconceptions. Momsen did also appear at that moment in the film Saving Shiloh (2006). Momsen also tried out for the role of Hannah Montana's title character Hannah Montana and was in the top three. However, the role was instead awarded to Miley Cyrus.
