David Muir is a journalist and anchor from the United States. The most well-known of his shows is World News Tonight. Through its animated movements and funny videos of celebrities' gossip, his show has become America's most-watched newscast. Made In America has also been nominated for Emmys. Prior to taking over ABC World News Tonight he was the anchor in charge for the anchor who was his previous anchor Diane Sawyer. He was a reporter on a variety of primetime ABC News specials, including Breaking Point - Heroin in America. He's traveled all over across the globe covering news from Gaza Egypt Iran Somalia Japan Peru Ukraine Haiti and the Gulf of Mexico. He has received numerous Emmy Awards Edward R. Murrow Awards as well as numerous distinctions and awards from the Associated Press.
