Ali MacGraw
Ali MacGraw also known by her stage name Elizabeth Alice MacGraw has been an actor, model as well as an animal rights activist in America. She has been acclaimed by films such as Love Story (from 1970), Goodbye Columbus, (1969), and The Getaway, (1972). In New York, she was born into an artistic family. The first job she had was an assistant to photographers. After that, she switched to modeling and acting. Her two first films got noticed and earned her recognition with the Golden Globe Award of Most Newcomer of the Year. MacGraw was a household name after the 1970 hit film Love Story. She was selected for an Academy Award and won a Golden Globe. The film was recognized as the most successful box office star in the world after only three films. In 1972 her hand-footprints and autograph were engraved at Grauman's Chinese Theater. The other films she has appeared on are The Getaway Convoy Players, TV miniseries The Winds of War and many more. Moving Pictures, her 1991 autobiography, came out. MacGraw was married three times.
